Die-cision
Die-cision
A dice collection, modification and battling game. Massively over-deadline entry for the GMTK 48hr "Roll of the dice" jam.
Probably needs a manual but I thought it was more fun to let people experiment and figure it out.
Update: this is now touchscreen compatible! Cursor will only appear if it detects a mouse movement, not finger touches. this goes for the web version as well as the downloads, so it will work on touchscreens on any platform!
Update 2: glitch solved with limbo and strong die not working correctly
Update 3: The big one
- Renamed an enemy accidentally named after an alt-right dogwhistle (that'll teach me to repurpose funny words I see in memes)
- Added tips (still planning to make a full manual but as a stop gap, every time you die you are given a random gameplay tip)
- Added mouseover help (hover a mouse over any die to see a description of its current side's specialisation, if any)
- Added a stable counter (if you or the enemy has more dice in reserve, this fact is now displayed on the rightmost pillar. One player said they were confused why Plinko's dice kept apparently respawning)

It took me a minute to get it, but once I did I enjoyed it!
